Making Organizing Effortless
We started Signup Square because we believed organizing signups should be simple, beautiful, and accessible to everyone.
Signup Square started in 2022, when a group of volunteers found themselves spending hours each week creating spreadsheets, sending emails, and tracking who signed up for what. The tools that existed were either too complicated, too expensive, or simply unpleasant to use.
Our three co-founders are career software engineers who have worked together for over a decade shipping products across consumer and B2B software. We built Signup Square because we saw the same frustrations in our own lives — the classroom snack schedule, the soccer carpool, the church potluck — and we knew the problem didn't need to be this hard to solve.
The goal was to build the sign-up tool we wished existed: fast to set up, beautiful to use, mobile-friendly out of the box, and free for the use cases that matter most. Every feature we add is measured against one question: does this actually make a real organizer's life easier?
Today, organizers from classrooms, churches, sports teams, and small businesses rely on Signup Square to coordinate the events that bring their communities together. We're a small team based in Orange County, California, and we answer every support email ourselves. This is just the beginning.
Empowering Organizers Everywhere
We believe that when organizing is easy, communities thrive. Our mission is to remove the friction from coordination so people can focus on what matters most - bringing people together.
